Join Sen. Bernie Sanders and Democratic Socialists of America at the March on Mississippi to support Nissan workers and the right of workers to form a union on Sat. March 4th.
We're bringing our folks from DSA groups across the South together for weekend of marching, training, and connecting on March 4th & 5th in Jackson, MS and Canton, MS. Join fellow DSA members and our National Organizer to build your skills and support workers. We’ll attend the "March on Mississippi" with Bernie Sanders, Rev. William Barber and other movement leaders and then come together for a DSA organizing training the following day.
The workers at the Nissan Canton plant have been fighting for workers' and civil rights for over a decade, but the company has been extremely hostile to their efforts. A win for these workers would be a gamechanger for labor in Mississippi, the South, the US, and internationally--and our support of the workers' "March on Mississippi" could be decisive! Let's organize the South!
