2016 Election: DUMP TRUMP!

Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is joining with other progressive organizations to DUMP TRUMP on Nov. 2.  While DSA endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders primary campaign against Hillary Clinton it is not officially endorsing Hillary Clinton, but because of the threat of the Trump campaign and the racist, White Nationalist movement behind it,  we are urging voters to vote strategically to defeat Trump in the general election Nov. 2 and join with Sen. Bernie Sanders and other progressives to push a left-progressive agenda if Hillary Clinton becomes the next President.

After the Bernie Sanders Campaign, Now What?

Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign is winding down, and Hillary Clinton is the presumptive Democratic Party nominee, now what?
What role should democratic socialists, and DSA play in the 2016 Presidential Election?
How can we build upon the momentum of the Sanders’ campaign to build a mass movement for democratic socialism in the USA?
Where do we go from here?

We Need Bernie

Join the Revolution, WE NEED BERNIE!

Greetings and Happy New Year from Memphis DSA

It is an exciting year for Democratic Socialists and DSA, and we need to take advantage of the 2016 election and the Bernie Sanders campaign to build DSA and broaden the movement for democratic socialism in the U.S.

We will our first meeting Jan. 16th, at 2:00 PM at my house (2110 Evelyn Ave) to discuss the Sanders campaign our plans for the upcoming year.  The Tennessee primary is Tuesday March 1, so we don’t have much time to get people registered and motivated to vote.    As a non-profit organization, DSA cannot coordinate directly with the Bernie Sanders campaign but as democratic socialists we can play a role in educating the Memphis community about democratic socialism and the role Bernie Sanders’ historic campaign can play in building a mass movement for real economic and social democracy.

Get involved in DSA’s #WeneedBernie campaign

Join Memphis DSA at our next meeting Sat. Jan. 16th (Email for information)
